Gulets home country, where they are made and produced is Turkey. In last 50 years, this country evolved extremely in gulet business. Starting from average size 10 m, in last 25 years gullets have grown to the size between 24 and 35m. In only 50 years, more than 3.000 new gulets were produced, one more luxury then the other, while number of boatyards is also growing every year. 8) Can I buy these ships and rent the weeks I do not use for myself?
Gulets are 100% produced only to pleasure guests on cruises. As it is almost impossible for average employed person to stay on a gulet for several months, we advise you to plan the weeks you are attempting to use the gulet for yourself, while for the rest of the weeks you can use our charter management program. 9) Is it safe to buy in Turkey?

Trip to Turkey &ndash Procedure
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival we will wait for you at the airport and we will be your host for the time you spend in Turkey. When you come, we will accommodate you to your hotel and leave you to rest for the first day, especially if you arrive late in the afternoon or in the evening.
Day 2: Getting to know Turkey and our company
After you take a rest, you will have a meeting with our CEO Operation Turkey, who will take care of you in your stay in Turkey. You will go through complete info about procedures that have to be made; you will get complete info about our company and together you will make a schedule for your stay in Turkey.
After that, we will show you Turkey, gulets in general, give you all idea about Turkey and how the business is made there.
Days 3 and 4: Checking the gulets
We will show you our partner Boatyards, and we will organize for you all trips to gulets you are interested in. You will meet with the owners and you will be able to make complete tours of that gulets, from cabins, salon, kitchen, engines, materials and everything. We will also show you registration papers of this gulet and warn you if there is something you have to be careful with that gulet.
Day 5: Decision and negotiations
After you decide which gulet you wish to purchase, we visit the owner again together. We carry out all negotiation process for you and agree on a final price.
Day 6: Paper work
After your decision, there is a standard procedure that has to be completed, so you do not have any problems later. You will go through complete procedure with our company, and we can complete everything for you.

Day 7 is reserved for all details and actions that were not made before. Here we also see if you will have to come to Turkey again, or complete process was completed.
Optional extra services
Defining repairs you need and upgrades you wish to undertake
When you buy yourself a gulet the whole story can be at about 50% only. Before purchase, complete gulet survey is made and usually some repairs have to be done. This can be sometimes very tough experience, because some boatyards promise a lot, for very low costs, but at the end they ask for more money or they do repairs which are not quality enough.
We can do this for you easily. After we define needed repairs or upgrades your gulet needs to receive, we give this gulet to the most appropriate boatyard to repair.
One of the smartest things to do also is to buy older budget type gulet for low price and renovate it to become luxury one.
Surveillance and control over quality and deadline
When your gulet is being renovated or repaired, it is necessary to have somebody there all the time to make surveillance. If you wish to be that person it is great, but if you do not have time to spend few weeks or maybe even months there, we can do this for you.

Step 1: CHAMBER OF SHIPING, GULET SURVEY
When you decide which gulet you will buy we will go to the Chamber of Shipping, where gulet is registered.
The gulet experts will give us the assessment on gulet&rsquos condition and value.
Step 2: AGREEMENTS, BILL OF SALE, NOTARY
Gulet Sale & Purchase Agreement will be signed by both parties&rsquo buyer and seller.
(The bill of sale or sales agreements can depend on the citizenship of buyer. We can either follow the order of buyer citizen, where his government orders agreement procedure are or we can do it by Turkish standards, which have been done generally.
This is all done at Notary. Both parties will go there to let bill of sale and agreements are signed for comlete sale and regitration of the yacht on the name of the buyer.
When the bill of sale and agreements are completed in Turkish language, it will be translated by official translator to English language and signed by notary as a twin to a real contract.
3 pieces of document will be issuded to each companies, buyer, seller and customs.
Step 3: HARBOUR MASTER
We will summit an application to the Harbour Master; regarding the export of gulet to foreign country.
Department of gulets will search the database if the gulet has debt to the harbour master. When the staff receives all the information about the gulet they delete the registration of gulet in Turkey.
The respond from harbour master will give us an order form to deliver the customs all info needed to make an export.
Step 4: CUSTOMS
Customs will request us to clear all these documents:
· A document that includes all info that the company selling the gulet doesn&rsquot have any debt to revenue Office
· Sales & Purchase agreement signed by both parties&rsquo buyer and seller.
· Sales invoice (Bill of state)
· The document of specifications of yacht with all technical details.
· Report of value determination for gulet; how much does it cost.
· The document sent by Harbour Master that gulet has been deleted from Turkish registry and that it doesn&rsquot have any problems for export.
· Transit log, taken by harbour master from which harbour gulet will be exported.
The cost for customs is around 2000 &ndash 2500 &euro (depending of gulet), which is paid by buyer.
A document will be given to you as a new owner by government of where the gulet will be registered.
Authority brief given by owner to captain to bring gulet from Turkey to another country.
Payment procedure
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PROCEEDURE LIKE
The total of the amount will be delivered after the sales agreement signed by both parties.
We will request them to transfer the Money into our company account in Turkey. Turkish government doesn&rsquot take tax and VAT if gulet is exported.
After we have received the money, they will receive deduction of account by signature of our company.

It is hard to believe, but yes, you can get a gulet for already 250 EUR/person/week, including food and transfer to gulet from airport. This price is of course for low season, but low season in Turkey (end of September and October) is still very beautiful. Sea still has around 24 C, while air has 25 C.
Gulets in this range are usually older gulets, with 6, 7 or 8 cabins. Every cabin always has private shower and toilets and gulet we offer are always clean and with nice crew. So if you are in search of experience, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying with paying no importance to the luxury of a gulet, this is perfect choice for you.
ECONOMY &ndash 2 stars, from 450 EUR and up to 550 EUR
Economy gulets are similar to Low budget ones, but they are usually now so old. Also you can expect little better food on this gulets. All cabins have private showers and toilets, and you can also get a gulet in this category that has only 3, 4 or 5 cabins, so you do not need to get such a big group of people to get it.
STANDARD &ndash 3 stars, from 550 EUR and up to 750 EUR
Standard gulets have larger cabins all equipped with own private showers and toilets. Again there will be better food on board then in Economy and Low budget class. Most of the time gulets in this range have air condition in every cabin, especially in Turkey, but because of smaller generators air condition is only working around 5 hours a day maximum.
Range of standard gulets is from 3 and up to 12 cabins, so the range is extensive and the gulets are very nice already offering a lot of comfort.
LUXURY &ndash 4 stars, from 750 EUR and up to 1.200 EUR
The biggest range in our offer is in Luxury range. You can get all sorts of gulets here, from 3 cabins and up to 16 cabins. All gulets in this range have air conditioned cabins with showers and toilets in every cabin. SUPER LUXURY &ndash 5 stars, from 1.200 EUR and up to 2.500 EUR
Cabins in this range are all equipped with air condition and with private shower and toilets. Gulets in this category are usually all over 30 meters in length, and have from 2 and up to 11 cabins. Cabins on this gulet already looks like hotel rooms, usually there is 1 crew on maximum 3 people, and gulets have new design and are most of the time not older then 3 or 4 years.

Gulet cruises are not regular holidays. When you go to hotel, there are more or less similar conditions. You rent a room, you have half board, full board or ALL INCLUSIVE packages included in price and you know what you will spend when you will be in hotel on spot.
When you are deciding for a GULET VACATIONS it is very similar, there are only few things you have to know.
1) Choosing the right gulet?
When choosing the right gulet, it is only 4 things you have to be sure of.
1) Budget you have
2) Destination you are interested in
3) Departure date/period you can go
4) Number of passengers in your group
When you know these things, you have almost UNLIMITED OPTIONS. Till now, you had to search several web pages and contact a lot of different suppliers. 2) What I get on a GULET CRUISE?
Gulets are CREWED MOTOR SAILORS! This means they usually travel on MOTOR, but they also have sails and most of them also have really good sailing possibilities.
You do not have to be scared. ALWAYS on a gulet, there is a crew that will take care of your needs. Captain will drive a yacht for you. Cook will prepare a food for you, while waiter will prepare everything, so that you only sit by your table as in hotel and eat your food &ndash AND THE SEA VIEW IS PERFECT.
So you do not have to worry about knowing how to drive a gulet, you will not have to cook, you will not have to serve food, you will not have to clean dishes.
All you will have to do is sunbath, enjoy, take some swims in private bays and not worry about a thing in the world.
3) How the price is calculated?
In gulet cruise the main price is calculated as CHARTER PRICE while FOOD is always considered as extra payment.
Charter price ALWAYS includes:
1) fuel for maximum 4 hours of cruising a day,
2) crew (the number of crew depends from the size of gulet, number of passengers, price of a gulet) ,
3) insurance of a gulet, wages and food for crew, service on board,
4) bed sheets,
5) towels for bathroom
FOOD is considered extra payment. You can decide from HALF BOARD (breakfast, lunch), FULL BOARD (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or ALL INCLUSIVE (Full board + unlimited local drinks). On some gulets it is also possible you choose a list of food you wish on board, and regarding the shopping list we make, we charge you for food on board.
Always you can also choose from different menus as vegetarian menu, fish menu, meat menu, local food menu, super luxury menu, low budget menu&hellip.
4) Are there any extra - hidden costs beside charter price and food expenses?
Beside the mentioned costs, you have to consider also some other costs. Some of them are MANDATORY, while some of them are only if you ask for them seperatly.
1) Transfer from airport to gulet and back: some gulets have also this cost included in the charter price. If it is extra payment, we will also notify you this when we will prepare forst offer for you
2) All drinks on board: if you do not decide for all inclusive packages, you will have to buy drinks extra from ships bar. Usually it is forbidden to bring own drinks on board of a gulet, but because we have very good relationship with most of them, we can also arrange that you bring your own drinks on board, especially in Turkey.
3) Port taxes: in Turkey, port taxes are included in price, while in all other countries they are considered as extra payment. Port taxes costs depend from the route you have. If you stay every day in different marina or town, costs can gather for larger gulets up to 1.500 EUR/week. On the other hand, if you stay at night on wild moorings on some bays or isolated islands and enjoy the nature more, the costs for this can be lower then 400 EUR/week. Avarge costs are from 700 EUR to around 1.000 EUR for whole week
4) On board activities: waterskiing, jet-ski, parasailing, professional diving, rafting, extra crew, such as hostess or masseuse, special trips to national parks&hellipThis and much more can all be arranged, but most of the time this is always extra as NON MANDATORY extra costs. If you wish to use them, you can specify this before departure and it can all be arranged.

5) Do I have to share the cabins with the crew?
All gulets that are on www.EGLOBALYACHTS.com have also the information how many cabins gulet has. This is the number of cabins &ndash FOR GUESTS! Crew always has separate cabins, so you do not have to worry about it.
Also if you see some gulet that you really like, but has 1 cabin less then you would need for your group contact us anyway. Sometimes gulet owners make special favors and they also give owners cabin for clients also.
6) Can gulets sail? Do we have to pay for fuel we use?
Some gulets are great sailors, while some are not. Main traveling on gulets is on motor, while you sail only 2 or 3 times in a week. Some gulets however have really good sailing possibilities and offer special SAILING programs.
Fuel for 4 hour cruise/day is always included in charter price. Owners will never look at their watch and remind you how much time they cruised that day. If you have a special desire for longer routes than usually, we will discuss it with captain and we will inform you about extra costs in advance.
7) What is usual booking procedure like?
After you see, that gulet offer is really the best possible vacations you can either search for a gulet by yourself with the help of our SEARCH SYSTEM or send us an inquiry with as much info as possible.
After we give you several offers, you talk with other people in your group what would be most appropriate. If there is nothing you like, you give us more information about your wishes and we make you another offer. If one of the gulets we have offered is by your wishes, the procedure is following:
1) We make a NON OBLIGATION option with the gulet owner, so nobody can book this period before you
2) We prepare a contract between your group and company WORD GULET ASSOCIATION, and send you also all GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS and invoice for deposit payment
3) After the deposit payment is made, reservation is fix
4) 1 month before departure you also have to pay the difference
5) After that we send you PREFERENCE LIST, where you give us all information about food you wish to have on board, about the route you wish to have and about all activities you expect on board so that the crew on board is 100% prepared for your group
