Vessel Walkthrough The Young Sun 43 is a strongly built bluewater cruiser. The current owners bought this yacht in the spring of 1999. They prepared it for cruising and enjoyed it for a few years traveling up and down the east coast, throughout the Bahamas, across the gulf of Mexico to Texas and back. During their refit of the vessel in the fall of 1999, they had the boat hauled, renewed the brass through hulls, installed Marelon Sea Cocks throughout, replaced the plumbing for the sewage system, replaced the heads, replaced the prop shaft, replaced the shaft coupling, did a total engine rebuilt, new engine control panel, upgraded the electrical system, replaced or rebuilt the freshwater pumps. Sleeps 7, 2 owner and guest staterooms including 1 gueat head, pilot berth, and dinette berth. There are 2 companionways from the center cockpit.
Owners Cabin Large aft stateroom with aft head. Lots of storage. 3rd sleeping area in walkway to aft stateroom, a pilot berth outboard.
