Introduction The first thing you'll notice when you step aboard is the totally (and professionally) restored teak decks. And this is only the beginning of the list of updates/upgrades. New standing rigging, new Lewmar folding wheel, new electronics and re-chromed hardware This heavily built, shoal draft boat (via keel/centerboard) handles exceptionally well and is dependable as well as pretty. Her tall rig allows for light air sailing, but she also handles heavy weather with aplomb. She's comfortably laid out for cruising or live aboard. This is a high quality boat in turn key condition.
Accomodation This aft cockpit layout begins with a large V-berth stateroom forward. This stateroom has a good sized hanging locker as well as other storage. The head compartment is next aft to starboard and has a marine toilet, vanity, sink with H/C pressure water and shower. Another hanging locker is opposite. This brings you to the spacious main saloon with a U-shaped dinette to starboard which converts to a double berth when necessary. A straight settee/berth and a pilot berth to port sleep two more guests or crew. The nav table is also to port and uses the end of the settee as a seat. The galley is tucked in the aft port quarter. Back to starboard you'll find the quarter cabin with ensuite sink and vanity. There is also a marine toilet which is currently not operational. This interior is in very nice condition.

Deck & Hull If you are looking for a stout cruising boat with a good pedigree come see "Blue Charm". This was a collaboration of Ted Hood's architecture and Henri Wauquiez's boatbuilding. The result compares favorably with any of the US production boats of the same era. The original gelcoat continues to compound/buff/wax up to a remarkable shine. The interior recesses of the boat are all coated with gelcoat so no rough edges and a twenty year old bilge can be kept free of oil and grease. The hull to deck joint and the bulkhead tabbing are evidence of construction that is meant to last.
