Features This one-off racer/cruiser was developed from a J130, a true "racer/cruiser" designed for very fast shorthanded cruising. Her construction is epoxy over cedar strip planking. Construction calculations were done by SP-Systems. Her general layout is similar to a BOC racer, but with more interior space and perfect cosmetics. Her overall condition is, in fact, perfect - the boat was just finished in August 2000! This is a is very good looking sailboat, easy to sail and very fast. ORC Club GPH is 546.8. Her owner enjoyed building her so much that he wants to build another one when this boat is sold.
Accomodation Layout: at the bow you find a retractable carbon bow sprit of 2m length and a below-deck furling system for the headsail in a self draining compartment. Next there is a sail compartment of 2m length including a watertight bulkhead. The owners bed, measuring 2m x 1.6m follows. To port there is a small area with a hanging locker and a place to sit; to starboard is a head with hot and cold water accessible from the owners stateroom and from the main cabin. The main salon features settees to port and starboard. Aft and to port follows an L-shaped galley with two sinks, a 3-burner stove with oven and a 160l refrigerator. To starboard is an L-shaped navigation station with central electrics, nav-electronics and a functional chart table. There is an aft cabin to starboard with a large quarter berth and hanging locker; to port a walk-in cockpit locker with a pipe berth. All the way aft are 2 cockpit lockers.
