Accommodations

"Brigadoon VII" is a well equipped state of the art cruiser/racer. Forward is the master cabin with a double berth. Next is the U-shaped galley to port. The work station is to starboard with tool storage. Aft of the work-station is the office and navigation station with chart tables. The Main Saloon is next. The Day Head is on the port side aft of the Saloon. Air conditioning, Hella turbo fans and Cantiluppi lighting fixtures are found throughout.

Owner's Stateroom
Fully outfitted for living aboard, the Owner's cabin is roomy and well-equipped. The double berth has drawer space underneath. The vanity with seat also provides storage. The ensuite head has a separate shower forward.

Main Saloon
The raised U-shaped settee for dining with seating for 6 is opposite the nav station and is raised two steps with the engine and mechanical spaces underneath. There has been great attention paid to soundproofing.

Guest Staterooms
Both staterooms feature a double berth, split mattress with a lee cloth. The day head is shared by both staterooms. The port stateroom features extra drawers for storage. The starboard stateroom has an extra locker at the foot of the berth with storage under. There is also a hanging locker and seat.

Hull & Deck

The hull was constructed primarily of West System epoxy resin, Kevlar udrs, E-glass biaxials and Kevlar wovens. "Brigadoon" was constructed in compliance with the ABS Guide For Offshore Racing Yachts and 1995 IMS regulations. The deck is Awlgrip and non-skid with a composite integral toe rail. There are 16 Lewmar hatches with integral sun & bug screens. The pilothouse windows are tinted chemically strengthened laminated glass.
