This Young Sun is an excellent sailing boat designed for long distance cruising, she offers comfortable accomodations with a luxurious interior. She is a very classical styled cutter rigged sailing vessel. She has a full keel with a cut-away fore-foot and a heavy keel hung rudder. The hull is lap-strack double ended design with a low classic coach roof. All ports are bronze opening with a large opening hatch in the main cabin. Another opening hatch in the forward cabin as well giving great ventilation. U-shaped galley, large nav station, double dinette and settee in main cabin, large double vee berth forward and lots of storage space every where. This is a very comfortable offshore sailing vessel.
The Young Son 35 was marketed under the name Fairwind 35 and Westwind 35.

Accommodations
Luxury and elegance are yours in the main cabin. The U-shaped dinette seats six and the dinette table is fully adjustable for height. Sleeping accomodations include single settees both port and starboard. The large quarterberth and the V Berth each sleep two. All berths are 6'4" in length. There are over 40 lockers, bins and drawers throughout the yacht including a large double door hanging locker as well as a vented wet locker aft.

The owner is a electrical engineer and accounts for many electronic conveniences. For examplehis custom counter cold plate and end of counterb refrigerator/freezer.
