"ARIA" is a well found, well equipped, 1 year old Tartan 3400. Her owner has had a change of plans, which translates into a unique opportunity for her new owner to enjoy this thoroughbred of yachts at well below factory pricing!
Upon its introduction, the Tartan 3400 became an instant success, winning the coveted 2006 Cruising World "BOAT OF THE YEAR" award. Since then, over 70 3400's have been built, with their heat cured epoxy hulls, carbon fiber awlgripped masts, carbon fiber awlgripped "pocket boom", fractional rig and self tacking headsail. Read the following specs to see just how well her owners equipped her out of the factory, from her extensive electronics inventory to her awlgripped slate gray hull with shoal draft "Beavertail" keel. Aria has it all, with her style, comfort and ease of handling.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to purchase this lovely "AS NEW" yacht while enjoying tremendous savings over new boat prices!
Accommodations
Accommodations of the T3400 are spacious, as are the storage & hanging lockers and the many cabinets & drawers. With the forward facing nav station to starboard and her head just aft, she has two separate and private sleeping cabins fore and aft. Her galley is aft, opposite the nav station where the cook can always maintain contact with the crew in the cockpit. There is little one could add to this exceptional yacht that would make your cruising any more comfortable. Superbly ventilated, she has 9 stainless steel opening ports w/screens, 3 offshore CE approved overhead hatches w/screens & shades and 2 chrome dorade vents w/stainless steel guards. In addition to the widely regarded Tartan standards of interior craftsmanship, as highlighted by Tartan's tasteful use of cherry cabinetry throughout, there are many custom options you'll find listed in the sections that follow. Sails & Rigging
The Tartan 3400 employs a 15/16 fractional rig which allows for a fully battened mainsail, balanced by an efficient self tending, Harken roller furled jib with cabin top traveler. The mast is carbon fiber for high strength and lower weight with two tapered airfoil shaped spreaders and is, itself, tapered for less weight aloft, with a consequent increase in stability. The boom is a trough shaped "pocket boom" which allows the mainsail to be dropped completely within and to be covered with an integral zippered Sunbrella sail cover. Both the mast and the boom are awlgripped white.
