All underwater fittings are electrically insulated from the hull. Decks are teak laid-in bedding over plywood, all of which is on top of steel and aluminum deck frames. Houses are trimmed in varnished teak. House tops are plywood covered with Dynel and painted gray. Teak decks and teak cockpit and sole and seats.

The decks look good but the owner feels they may need to be re-worked or replaced within 2-5 years.  The yacht is $350,000 as is, or $380,000 with the teak decks replaced.

    Comments
This is a beautiful and well known Classic S&S Yawl. She is superbly constructed by the famous and highly regarded Franz Maas Shipyard in Europe. The finish and craftsmanship are first class. The hull is steel but faired externally with fiberglass and then Awlgripped. The yacht is fast, pretty and strong. It is totally sea-worthy.

She has had relatively light use and has had constant professional maintenance since new. She is a unique yacht and represents a unique value opportunity.

The yacht is currently in St. Martin chartering until June 1st and can be seen on or about June 1st in St. Barts.  She will then come north mid to late June.
