In addition, there is an extra berth (settee) in the master stateroom and an extra berth (settee) in the salon. Master and VIP staterooms have ensuite heads; the forward two staterooms share a head.

Main Saloon

The MAIN SALOON has large dining table to port with U shaped upholstered settee, storage outboard, an area for art and entertainment center. To starboard is a lounge area with bar and a supplemental freezer. The large settee in the lounge area can accommodate extra guests for sleeping.

Located starboard and aft of the main salon, the navigation station has full sized chart table and navigation equipment. (See Electronics list)

Continuing aft from the salon is the door to the WALK IN ENGINE ROOM, inboard, and a large locker outboard.

Master Stateroom

The MASTER STATEROOM is full-width aft. To port is a king size bed, to starboard is a settee which is full length and can sleep an extra person or be used during passages on port tack. There is a deep hanging locker which includes another concealed locker and a safe. More hanging lockers include one with shelves. A bureau is centerline aft. The master bath forward to port includes a shower, sink/vanity with Corian countertop and electric toilet. Forward of the salon, and to port, is a very spacious GUEST CABIN with a queen size bed, drawers and hanging locker. A bedside bureau has a drawer and cabinet below. Bath is ensuite with shower, sink, Corian counter, mirrors with storage behind and an electric toilet.

Guest Staterooms Forward

Forward of the galley are two STATEROOMS. To port the stateroom has a double bed below and single above. The starboard stateroom has a single berth. These two cabins share an ensuite head with shower, sink and toilet.

The interior is of lovely golden teak with ultra suede headliner (new in 1998). Bath areas and galley are white Formica with teak trim for easy maintenance.   Teak and holly floors throughout. In addition to five zones of air conditioning, there are 11 Hella fans (new 2003) and opening hatches for ventilation. Mood lighting contributes to a very pleasurable atmosphere below deck.

Cockpit

Above deck the COCKPIT provides for great outdoor dining with special lighting fitted into the bimini top. Teak stern seats, clear deck space and a modern sugar scoop stern with a step are additional assets. All lines are led to the cockpit where all sail handling can be performed easily. Fiberglass decks and contemporary tooling permit the simplest maintenance possible.

There is enormous Corian topped counter space (all Corian new in 2000), and a built in area for garbage, which has access from the top of the counter or the side. Custom refrigeration includes 2 large wall compartments and one freezer in the galley, as well as one very large freezer at the bar in the salon. (See Galley list).

Remarks

DREAM VOYAGER is the first of the growing fleet of the Farr 72 series, a boat designed to cruise the world shorthanded and fast! Great attributes---fiberglass decks; operation of all winches from inside cockpit; a modern, stepped, reverse transom; walk-in engine room--make this contemporary, sleek yacht easy to maintain and sail. Below deck, DREAM VOYAGER offers a unique, comfortable layout, well suited for partners, a family or an exclusive charter yacht. The warm spacious interior of teak and Ultrasuede lends itself to living aboard. Like her sisters, the most distinctive quality DREAM VOYAGER offers is the exhilaration of sailing. She sails easily in light winds and customarily 10 - 12 knots when the B & G wind speed is reading the same. DREAM VOYAGER is the most attractively priced Farr yacht in this series.

The present owner of DREAM VOYAGER has continued the legacy of excellent care this yacht has always received.  When he purchased DREAM VOYAGER, all survey items were completed plus various upgrades and enhancements to systems and décor with the intention of going around the world.  The owner's plans have changed, and DREAM VOYAGER is available, ready to take you on your dream voyage!
