General Comments This Slocum 43 is a marvelous bluewater cruiser, designed to maximize the interior volume and provide safe and comfortable passages. Built to the highest standards, the Slocum is a very seaworthy yacht. The double ended cutter design is rather distinctive. This is a one owner boat, which made a round trip across the Atlantic safely through her share of foul and stormy weather. She has spent eighty percent of her time on the great lakes is and hauled every fall for winter lay up. She is checked out every spring from top to bottom including all sails, and has been routinely upgraded as needed by her caring owner. This lovely bluewater yacht will be moving to Rhode Island this Spring, and will be ready to cruise anywhere you would like to go, be it to Europe, the Caribbean or the South Pacific.
