Accommodations COURAGE provides a comfortable owner's stateroom forward with an oversized Vee berth which includes a centerline filler. Next aft is an accommodating main saloon with an L shaped settee to starboard, centerline drop-leaf table and a straight settee to port. Bookshelves and storage areas are available above and outboard of each settee. Either side would provide additional sleeping comfort for guests.
The galley is aft and to starboard with two burner LPG stove, stainless sink, microwave and 110V / 12V refrigeration. Careful space allocation allows secure storage for provisions and utensils.
The navigation station is to port just forward of the companionway with workspace suitable for today's chart books.
Aft to port is the enclosed head compartment with separate shower.
Interior style utilizes gloss varnished cherry trim, white panels and bulkheads, teak and holly soles and white vinyl headliner panels. Interior spaces are simple, elegant, bright and inviting. The quality of fit and finish is what one would expect from one of the finest, semi-custom boat builders in the world.
Pilothouse The deckhouse is the social and business center of the yacht. Helm station is to starboard with all navionics and controls attractively flush mounted. Twin helm seats are finished in ultra-suede. Visibility and sight-lines are excellent. Comfortable settee seating is available for four around a varnished cherry table.

Remarks COURAGE is an innovative, well executed yacht that combines the economy of single-screw operation with the performance of twins. The SRD (Schultz Reverse Deadrise) hull design is a breakthrough hull form, recently awarded a US patent. The handling characteristics and the comfort of her ride will surprise both Downeast and deep-vee enthusiasts. Top speed is 24 knots: fast cruise is very comfortable at 18 knots, slow cruise at 12 knots shows COURAGE just "onto the step" and running very economically. Note that similar hull designs with plumb bows have begun to appear on large motoryachts which are specifically designed for both speed and efficiency.
Of note, running gear is fully protected with a skeg and vestigal keel.
At 2800 RPM's, COURAGE will cruise at 20 kts. and will burn approximately 13 gph. for an efficiency ratio of 1.7 miles per gallon.
At 2000 RPM's, speed will be approximately 12.5 - 13.5 knots and fuel burn will be 6 gph for an efficiency ratio of 2.1 miles per gallon.
The above figures calculated with approximatly 33% fuel capacity aboard and 80% water capacity in relatively calm conditions.
Condition is as new. Engine hours are under 80 and generator hours are under 10. This is an unusual opportunity for a discerning buyer who appreciates the economy of single-screw operation but does not want to forgo the performance. COURAGE would be equally at home exploring the shallow waters of the Bahamas or curcuiting the Great Loop.
