Broker's Comment This fast Australian-built catamaran is designed with live-aboard cruising in mind. It has 3 cabins and 2 heads, with the port hull as the owner's suite and the starboard hull dedicated to guest accommodation and galley. Interior finish is in beautiful Jarrah wood with Rose Gum and Silver Ash trim. Rhapsody has many neat design features, such as removable windows between the cockpit and salon, chart table inside the salon just in front of the cockpit steering position, so that one has easy view of electronic equipment while alone on watch. The current owners had her built and added numerous custom upgrades such as mast steps, state of the art electronics, wash-down pump, opening hatches inserted into fixed windows for increased ventilation, an extended suit of sails, solar panels, radar, BBQ, lazy jacks and stack pack and a lot more. She has cruised extensively and is ready to cross oceans or gunkhole in the islands.
Accommodation The interior is trimmed in rose gum with steps made from Australian Jarrah wood, lined with silver ash. The Salon has 6' 3" headroom and is light and spacious. To port, as you enter, is the curved chart table/nav station against the aft bulkhead and under the window. It is well situated as the window in the aft bulkhead, between nav and steering stations, can be removed so that instruments can be accessed from the interior or exterior. Forward of the nav station are steps down into the owner's suite and forward of the steps is a large surface area that can fit a full-size chart and has top-loading storage as well as containing the electrical panel. The u-shaped settee is situated forward, so that anyone sitting there has a good view out into the cockpit and beyond. It is positioned centrally and to starboard side of the salon. It surrounds a beautifully crafted table in Brazilian flamed mahogany with polished stainless steel legs.
This three double-cabin version of the Seawind has the main bathroom in the stern of the port hull. Amidships is a desk and chair which can act as the navigation area/ office/ communications center; plentiful storage on the outboard side of the hull. Forward is the owner's cabin with queen bed and in the v of the hull is a separate storage compartment. The starboard hull has a cabin aft. The galley can be found at the base of the steps in the central portion of the bull. It is well set up, with double s/s sinks, microwave, fridge, freezer and storage, inboard. The oven, freezer and large work surfaces with storage above and below the counters, are on the outboard side of the hull. A cabin forward of the galley is en suite and the head has a separate shower section. There is full standing room everywhere, and more than sitting-up room in all the bunks.
