This commercial fisherman was built by Seahorse, (Mt. Vernon, WA) for the purpose of handling the rough waters in the Pacific Northwest. The stern cabin design features a pleasantly dry riding pilothouse and a generous working deck for commercial or sport applications. The vessel is currently setup for gillnet fishery but can easily be re-rigged for a for a variety of commercial or sport applications. The big working deck is a great platform for divers, surfers and kayakers. Accommodations: Overnight accommodations are provided for two people in one berth. The layout includes a pilothouse helm station and an aft berth. Other interior features include two sliding side windows (starboard and port), three front windows, aft window, forward lockable companionway door, above-berth shelf, escape hatch, fiberglass sole, rubber mats and teak trim. Galley Equipment: None. Electronic and Navigational Gear: Electronic and navigational gear includes Raymarine 24-mile radar, Southern California map chip, Standard horizon GPS, JRC Color fish finder, ICOM MC700 VHF marine radio and a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo. Other electronic and navigational gear includes an EPIRB. Electrical: Two 8D marine batteries charge the 12-volt electrical system. Water systems include two automatic and manual bilge pumps. Other water features include a high water alarm and freshwater engine flush system. Hull & Deck Gear: The stern cabin design is a dry ride even in rough weather conditions. Forward is a huge working deck space with raised gunwales, stainless steel deck cleats and commercial tackle for gillnet fishery. Anchor equipment includes two 45-pound anchors with 50-foot of chain and 200-foot of rode. Other anchor gear includes a sea anchor. Safety gear includes one PFD, two fire extinguishers, flare kit, first aid kit, docking line and fenders. Fishing and sports gear includes a fiberglass swim step and 200-pound fish hold. Equipment & Engine Details: Engine Details: Power package includes 210 horsepower 2003 Volvo TMAD41P diesel I/O engine with a Volvo DP prop and Volvo 290 DP outdrive. The engine has 200 hours, a cruising speed of 19-knots and reaches a maximum speed of 23-knots. The engine is fueled by an aluminum 150-gallon fuel tank. Other engine features include a spare drive. Remarks: This vessel has operated as a successful gillnet fishery, mainly catching halibut and sea bass in and around the Channel Islands. The operation has been quite successful and the owner is moving up to a larger boat. This boat has been consistently well maintained.
