Accommodations She was designed as a comfortable cruiser for two people. Her traditional interior layout consists of a V-berth forward and head slightly aft to port. Opposite the head is a small sink. The main salon has a fixed mounted dinette table to port with athwartships benches on both sides. The galley is to starboard and there is room for a quarter berth to starboard aft of the galley. A large engine compartment is located below the companionway and serves double duty as companionway steps. On deck there is a large anchor locker just aft of the deck snubbing winch. The Bow roller has been designed to carry two anchors. The leading face of the coach roof has an opening port to provide ventilation to the V-berth. There are numerous bronze cleats and fittings along the side deck. The cockpit is spacious and has two mahagony lazaretted on the port and starboard side. Aft of the cockpit is a large stern lazarette that is used for storage but can easily be converted over to an outboard well. Behind the aft locker is a stern anchor roller.
Construction/Mechanical All Seafarer hulls are hand layup suing alternating layers of mat and woven roving fiberglass. Interiors are one-piece fiberglass designed to provide an element of give when major impact occurs yet with the strength necessary to restrain hull deflection. The unique Seafarer hull-deck joint is made by building a box section fiberglass girder around the entire sheer line integral with both hull and deck moldings. A teak cap is fastened to the top of the girder. The result is a good looking toe rail which accentuates the beautiful lines of the boat, yet is extremely strong, completely, leakproof and requires absolutely no maintenance. The hull above the waterline has been painted green. The deck is white gelcoat with molded in non-skid. The following items will certainly need attention by the new owner: Install 3 pump impellers with new gaskets (engine cooling and bilge pumps), fit and caulk new lifeline stanchion bases, Re-caulk the toe rail – sand and varnish same, flush engine cooling and fuel system, lube seacocks, obtain and install marine batteries, test run engine and check shaft packings, re-furbish cabin slider and lazafette hatch, re-furbish the interior.
