Accomodation

As soon as you step on the wide side decks or cockpit, you'll feel secure and safe because of the high bulwarks and high stanchions that are designed to keep you on the boat in rough conditions. Enter the light and bright Schucker Salon from either of the wide side deck wing doors or the large aft door from the deep and spacious covered cockpit with a large dry storage area below the deck. The cockpit is capable of being enclosed because of the hardtop overhang. Aft in the salon, large, deep-cushioned settees with storage drawers below are to port and starboard, each plenty wide to serve as a single berth, with varnished teak parquette flooring and removeable panel for engine room access below. All cabinetry is light varnished solid teak. Side windows have blinds, slide open, and all three doors have custom screens for efficient ventilation. A/C systems totalling 33,000 BTU were installed in 2007 and the salon has two A/C evaporators totalling 17,000 BTU with a second system below. All compressors are mounted in the engine room for quiet operation. Forward of the settees is the updated helm with wooden wheel to starboard and doors leading to the side decks on both sides. To port of the helm is the nav station with a hinged teak chart table, with storage below in drawers and cabinets. Some Navigation electronics are installed in teak cabinets above and others on the helm along with complete engine and generator instrumentation and AC/DC panel below.

The companionway is between the helm and nav station and leads down several stairs with the U-shaped well-equipped Galley to starboard and U-shaped dinette to port. There are five opening deck hatches and 6 opening ports througout the main cabin area, in addition to the new 16,000 BTU A/C system.

Moving forward into the Master Stateroom, the double berth is to starboard with an LCD TV mounted above the foot of the bed, storage below, and extensive, spacious solid teak louvered closets and drawers are to port.

Moving forward through a solid teak door the vanity and sink are to port, the electric head is to starboard, and a full shower stall is in the forepeak.
