Broker Comments The Sabre 402 was designed by Jim Taylor and the Sabre team to be a fast performer (likely PHRF rating in the mid 80's) and a luxury cruiser easily handled by a couple. Sabre 402 owners know that both these criteria were successfully satisfied. Leisure Street has Sabre's trademark solid Cherry interior with rubbed effect varnish. She also has the preferred Yanmar engine option, Corian counters, Ultrasuede upholstery, new canvas, and custom fitted luxury cabin linens. The boat's Flag Blue hull was Awlgripped in 2005 and shows beautifully. Leisure Street is a one owner boat that has been meticulously maintained and lightly used for Chesapeake Bay and coastal sailing. She is ready to move on to new adventures.
Vessel Walkthrough In Leisure Street, the distinctively warm Sabre Cherry interior wood is matched with teak and holly cabin soles, classy, navy blue upholstery and Corian counters. The U-shaped galley has generous work surfaces and storage. A central counter area at the base of the steps, houses the sinks and some counter-top storage. Below, is access to the engine, via 2 large hatches just above floor level. The stove, fridge and freezer are located along the hull, as is the microwave. The fridge has front or top-loading capabilities. A large aft cabin can be accessed through the galley. It has both hanging and cabinet storage along the hull. A low door allows entry into the head. Primary access to the head is from a door to starboard of the companionway. The head consists of a head and basin forward; a separate shower stall, with seat, aft. Forward of the head, is the well equipped nav station with comfortable seat and large chart table that has drawers below. The salon has a fold-down table amidships, this has 2 large leaves that fold up to create a huge eating area. The settee to starboard is a straight settee, while that on the port side is L-shaped. The forward cabin has storage below the large v-berth as well as to port & starboard. Against the bulkhead, to port, is a vanity with basin and a bench on which to sit.
