The PowerBoat Guide had this to say:
Regal's first-ever flybridge yacht, the 3880 Commodore (called the 3780 when she was introduced in 2001) is a notable departure from the company's 30-year history of producing family runabouts and express cruisers. In the mid-1990s, the rakish styling of the commodore would have been striking; today it's pretty much the norm for mid-range fly bridge sedans. The high sidedecks allow for a full beam salon with the kind of living space seen only in a larger boat. The galley is down, opposite the small guest stateroom which extends under the salon. Hatched in the salon sole lift to reveal deep storage bins, and a bar counter divides the salon from the galley. Topside, the Commodores's flybridge is very spacious for a boat this size with seating for six and a double sunpad aft. Additional features include cockpit access to the engine room, a pair of foredeck sun pads, molded flybridge steps, a foldout cockpit seat, transom shower, and overhead cockpit storage in the flybridge overhang.
