The Rampage 31 is a good example of how a modern express fisherman combines the stringent requirements of offshore fishing with the hightech construction techniques rapidly taking hold throughout the industry. She rides on a fully cored modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam, a well-flared bow, and moderate deadrise at the transom. Below, the cabin is snug but adequate for the needs of weekend anglers. The dinette/settee converts into a V-berth, and the backrests fold up to become bunks-a total of four berths. The bi-level cockpit is particularly well-designed with an extra-wide transom door, lockable rod storage, and a huge in-deck 85 gallon circulating livewell. There's room in the console for ample electronics. Note the wide sidedecks and sturdy rails.
