Comments The President 42 is a performance oriented trawler that was developed by three Annapolis based yachtsman for construction in the far east. This group was long on offshore experience on both sailing and power yachts. The yard there had a track record of building hulls for a number of notable boat lines including Marlowe Marine and Ted Hood. The construction features the use of Reichold Vinylester resins, Core-cell(as a stiffening agent)above the waterline, and vacuum-bagging of the GRP laminate. The usage of the boat has been light as reflected by an average of 37 engine hours annually.
