Large salon has an LShaped sofa to starboard and opposite to starboard are 2 leather easy chairs with a table betweeen. Salon has a built-in color television. Down aft is the master stateroom with centerline queen bed with nightstands on either side. Master stateroom has a huge closet, 2 hanging lockers and 2 dresser each having 8 large storage drawers. Master head is large with electric, fresh water flush toilet, large mirrored vanity and walk in stall shower. Galley is forward of salon and to port with 3 burner propane stove/oven, full size refrigerator, trash compactor, built-in microwave and a vast amount of storage. Directly across from the galley is a raised dinette that comfortably seats 6 persons. forward of the galley is the guest head with electric fresh water flush toilet, wet shower, and mirrored vanity with an abundant amount of storage. Guest stateroom/office is forward with over and under double berths to port and desk opposite and to starboard. There is a hanging locker and several storage drawers in the guest stateroom.
Galley The galley is down and to port. Large and easy to work in there is a Princess 3 burner popane stove with oven (with vent fan), full size Norcold refrigerator with freezer, built-in Litton microwave, and Broan trash compactor. There is storeage above and below the counter. The galley is bright and airy, and communication with guests in the salon can be carried out easily. Directly across from the galley and to starboard is the large dinette with leather seating for 6 persons. Propane safety switch for propane tanks (2) which are in vented storage on the flybridge.
Salon Enter into the salon from outside either through the sliding door from main deck starboard side, or from the sundeck. To starboard there is a very large LShaped sofa that easily seats 8 people. Directly across from the sofa there are 2 large leather easy chairs seperated by a table. There is a built in Mitsubishi 21" color television, and built in entertainment system that consists of a Panasonic VHS, Technics 5 disk CD changer, and Kenwood receiver. The sound system in the salon is "surround sound." Large windows provide a bright and airy feeling in the salon. Heating is provided by built-in electric wall heaters, or by central diesel heating.
Master Stateroom The master stateroom is down and aft with a centerline queen bed. The passage way leading from the salon to the stateroom has the laundry center to port with a washer/dry combo and a large storage area above. The centerline queen bed is flanked by nightstands on either side, and vanities on either side that each have 8 large clothing drawers. There is a very large hanging locker to port, and 2 other smaller hanging lockers for clothing. The large master head has a fresh water flush electric toilet, large mirrored vanity with storage above and below. The walk in stall shower is very large for a boat of this size! The master stateroom is very bright due to the several portlites, including 2 large opening ones on either side of the queen berth headboard.
Forward Stateroom The forward stateroom has 2 over and under double berths to port. The upper berth has a removable base that when removed opens up the stateroom giving it the appearance of being much larger. Directly across from the berths and to starboard is the vanity/desk. There are hanging lockers and several storage drawers for personal belonging and clothing. Adjoining is the guest head with wet shower, mirrored vanity and electric fresh water flush toilet.
Sundeck Access to the fully enclosed and customized sundeck is from port and starboard sidedecks and from the salon. There is a wetbar with stainless sink, liquor storage cabnet, U-Line icemaker forward and to starboard in the sundeck. There is a custom propane fireplace/heater in the aft port corner of the sundeck providing heat and ambiance to this living area. There is a dining table with custom overhead lighting for entertaining dinner guests.
Flybridge Up from the sundeck is the large, fully enclosed flybridge with centerline helm. The flybridge of a Ponderosa is large, very large and has seating for many on both port and starboard sides. There is a high/low table on the starboard side for meals, or other purposes.
Electronics Full instrumentation for engines at upper and lower helms. Large VDO rudder angle indicators at both stations. Within easy sight of the lower helm is the Raytheon R10XX radar, Magellan Nav1200GPS, Navico autopilot,Cybernet CX1000 hailer/signal sounder, Cybernet CX40-4 hailer/CB/weather tranceiver, Sony XRC5120 AM/FM/Cassette with 10 CD Sony 606 changer. There are seperate speaker controls for the foredeck, salon, guest stateroom, master stateroom, sundeck and flybridge. ICOM VHF radios at both helm stations. Upper helm has Datamarine speed/distance log and Datamarine depth sounder. Intercom system with stations throughout vessel.
Main Engines and Generator Main propulsion is provided by twin Perkins 6/354 turbo diesels with approximately 1174 hours. Engines have manual oil changing pumps for easy servicing. The Westerbeke 4.5KW generator is in a sound shield and has approximately 788 operating hours. All engines have been professionally serviced on a regular basis. The engineroom deck is diamond plate with carpet over. Access is from galley or removable salon floor. Heating for vessel is provided by built-in electric wall heaters, or ESPAR central diesel heating system.
Deck Wide fiberglass sidedecks with stainless steel railings. Anchor is a 45lb CQR with ample chain. Electric anchor windlass with power up/down, or freefall. Dinghy is a Livingston with 6HP outboard. Dinghy is hinged on swimstep for storage. Canvas covers and/or privacy screen for all windows
