The Pacific Seacraft Flickas were and still are quite popular. Bruce Bingham's proven design is a remarkable little ship and a proven pocket circumnavigator. Built and finished by Pacific Seacraft to the highest standards, the Flicka's simplicity and size give hat sailboats are supposed to give- freedom. Whether used for weekend sailing, trailered on summer vacations or casting off to explore the world, the Flicka is easy to sail and capable of any task put before her. This offering, number 409 of the 434 built, has been lightly used and is anxiously awaiting a new owner. Her owner has loved her and is sadly parting with her, but not with her memories.
Accommodations
Starting at the pointy end, there is a spacious double doored storage locker in the fore peak, with a teak access door in the forward end of that for access to the chain locker. Fiddled shelves line both sides of the V berth, which has a removable insert and four dry bins beneath it for storage. Continuing aft on port is the galley, with a hinged table located on the front of the ice box that can be raised to be used for a dinette or nav table. Sliding door locker storage is located behind the sink, stove and ice box and drawers and a cabinet beneath the sink provide additional storage. Behind that is a quarter berth.
On starboard behind the V berth is a straight settee. There is storage beneath it, behind it and an open shelf above and behind. A Force 10 kerosene cabin heater is on the bulkhead between the settee and the head. Continuing aft into the head, there is a port light and overhead light for ventilation and light, a wet locker behind the head and a teak drop front cabinet along the hullside.
