REMARKS People sometimes forget how nice it is to have a wooden yacht. Not only does wood give you a quieter ride than most fiberglass yachts, but one simply has to respect the skill of wooden yacht builders.
Folie a Deux has a pair of engines often referred to as the best diesels ever made, the famous, nearly-indestructible, naturally-aspirated, General Motors 6-71's. GM mechanics have told us one should expect at least 7,500 hours of use before rebuilding. Folie a Deux is not even a third of the way there.
Because the owners are determined to convert the boat to cash promptly, they have set an asking price that is unusually low when compared with prior sales of this model.
