Accommodations

At the bow is a capacious anchor locker accessed from on deck.

Immediately aft is the main Guest Stateroom.  The centerline, V-berth is queen-size.  Underneath is storage for sail, etc, and three large drawers.  There are four high mounted lockers and shelving areas.

There is a large dressing area with three more large drawers and a full hanging locker.  Light and ventilation is through two large opening deck hatches, two side ports and two dorade vents.

A doorway provides privacy.  There is access to the port side Head and separate stall shower.  The floor is teak grating over a shower tray which drains to a gray water tank with automatic pump out.  The head is accessed via a separate door.  There is a new (’04) Raritan 24-volt toilet, which pumps overboard.  A wash basin is fitted with capacious locker underneath.  There are four additional lockers and a large mirror

Next aft is a passage area with access to the head and Starboard Guest Cabin.  There are twin, over/under berths with extensive storage and drawers underneath.  Light is via a large opening deck hatch, two ports and a deck prism.

The Salon is light and spacious, taking full advantage of the generous beam.  To starboard the full size drop-leaf table is surrounded by a generous oval sofa.  There is storage under and behind.  To port there is a second seating area with twin seats.  Again there is storage under and behind.  Aft on the port side is the nav station with seat, chart table with storage under and central electrical control panels.  The companionway features a well angled set of stairs with vertical hand holds.  The entire salon is extremely well provided with hand grips to enable safe movement while at sea.  Ventilation is by dorades, two large opening deck hatches and two opening forward facing ports.  Additional light is provided by five ports and five deck prisms.

The Galley is to starboard aft of the companionway.  Inboard there is a deep double stainless steel sink unit.  Outboard is a Force 10 3-burner stove with oven and a 5.3 cu.ft. 220-volt refrigerator.  Above and outboard there are generous lockers, a large Panasonic microwave oven and a top loading refrigerator.  Inboard there is a work surface with two large lockers.  Above is a large spice rack and appliance storage.  There is an access door to the engine.  All surfaces are fiddled.  The galley works well both in harbour and at sea.

The Owner’s Stateroom is aft.  This cabin is magnificent, being larger and more luxurious than on many 70’ top of the range yachts.  There is a full size offset queen bed fitted with interior sprung mattress.  Access is from both sides.  To starboard there is a large hanging locker as well as additional storage.  To port is a settee and desk.  There is additional storage under the bed and settee.  The feeling of space is enhanced by full standing headroom, three opening hatches, three ports and a deck prism and two large mirrors.  A floor level hatchway provides excellent access to shaft, pumps, strainers and steering.

The galley is adjacent to the companionway and provides a walk through to the owner’s aft cabin.  Opposite to port is a small, single berth crew cabin with a large freezer underneath.  Aft of the crew berth is the owner’s walk through head and shower stall
