The O'Day is a great starter sail boat. The interior layout begins with a forward v-berth with filler that sleeps 2 and just aft of this is an enclosed self-contained portable head, vanity and sink opposite. The main salon has port and starboard settees with the port pulling out into a double berth. The galley is located near the companionway on the starboard side. There is a bulkhead mounted fold-down table and a quarterbert aft to port. Seven Spirits had a major interior rework in 2007. At this same time there were new batteries, new mainsail and bimini covers added along with miscellaneous maintenance work completed.
