The Newer 38 Ocean (Now called the 40 Super Sport)Built on a wider and deeper V-Hull design.The new 38 has a much larger interior. The two stateroom layout is innovative and completely unique for a boat this size.Stepping into the salon,one is confronted with a surprisingly spacious and efficient layout with the dinette positioned forward,with the galley to starboard.The companionway is all the way to port(theres a 7'Locker in outside wall for storage)and leads down to Midship Master stateroom of truly remarkable proportions. The guest stateroom is all the way forward with two single criss cross bunks.Both staterooms have there own TV's and connecting doors to the head with separate shower stall. The Interior was redone in the winter of 04 with a new Ultra-Leather L-Sofa,recovered barrel chair and matching fabric on dinette cushions.The fiberglass Hardtop was standard on the 38 Ocean,The owner had a new 4 sided Strata-glass enclosure built in 2004. The 425 H.P. Caterpillar Diesels were re blocked by Caterpillar in 2001 under warranty because of camshaft problems. The engines have 400 hours since re block. The electronics include a Raytheon R20XX radar,Raymarine L-760 color plotter/Fishfinder,Ray 650 autopilot,Ray 390 GPS,Standard Horizon vhf radio,Ray 430 Loud Hailer,AM/Fm/CD player on bridge and a Dytek Sea Temp gauge.(New 957 Northstar installed in 2006). This Boat Shows like new ! She is loaded with extras Air/heat,Westerbeke Gen set,windlass,cockpit freezer and tackle station.Rupp black double spreader outriggers,Salt and freshwater wash downs, and a transom door. Sleeps 6 in two staterooms with L-sofa and Dinette in Salon. The two stateroom floor plan is innovative and completely unique for a boat this size. Starting forward the Guest stateroom has criss cross single bunks with allot of storage and two hanging lockers with connecting door to head with full stall shower and Galley maid Head,sink w/Vanity and cabinets. The Guest stateroom has a 11" color Tv/comb VCR built in.Aft of the Head to starboard is the Mid-Ship Master stateroom with full Queen size walk around bed,Cruiseair AC/with reverse cycle heat,built in 13" Color TV,two hanging lockers,and lot's of drawer storage.The Master also has connecting door to Head. Up two stairs on port side is the extremely large Salon and Galley up with a center Dinette that seats four. The New Ultra-Leather L-sofa will seat six comfortably. The fabric on Barrel chair matches dinette cushions with all new fabric,window treatments,and carpet throughout.
