Comments This handsome Ed Monk design features an excellent cruising layout, which compliments her sturdy offshore character. Clearly one of the most popular Ocean Alexander models every built. The raised pilothouse with adjoining galley and dinette is perfect for a cruising couple or family. A full 17' 6" beam not only provides great interior volume, but also walk-around side decks for ease of access to all exterior spaces. Beneath the spacious cockpit there is a full beam lazarette offering extensive storage space and passage to the engine room, which has full headroom and complete access to all systems. The Caterpillar 660 hp engines will provide a good turn of speed and are economical to operate. Tool'n Around has the standard pilothouse/three stateroom layout and her condition is excellent. She has been cruised along the US east coast and has proven to be a very reliable, capable and comfortable vessel for her owners, who now wish to move up in size.
