Accommodations Overview: sleeps 6 in 3 staterooms. There are 3 owner and guest staterooms including 2 guest heads.
Vessel Walkthrough The vessel is entered either through the transom door, or via a gate on the side deck. There is a bench seat at the aft end of the covered aft deck. A large hatch in the aft deck opens into the lazarette/generator and engine rooms. In the lazzarette, there is ample storage space with the 15kW Westerbeke generator (and soundshield) to port and a Glendinning Cablemaster to starboard.
Going forward between the port and starboard fuel tanks, the spacious engine room exhibits excellent engineering and easy access to all the equipment such as fuel filters, raw water intakes, shaft couplings, pumps and other gear. New Algex Units on both engines and generator.
The Salon is entered through a sliding glass door with polished stainless steel frame. Entertainment center is to starboard. All cabinetwork is in the beautifully finished maple wood. A lounge is to port with two maple wood coffee tables. The galley and dinette are up two steps and open to the Salon below. The elevated Dinette is to port. The full Galley is to starboard and features a double, under-counter refrigerator with freezer and icemaker, four burner electric stove and microwave/convection oven. A double fiberglass sink faces the Salon. More than adequate storage above and below the Corian counters.
Going forward are the port and starboard guest staterooms. To starboard is the V.I.P. stateroom with a double berth and lots of closets and storage. To port is another Guest stateroom with upper and lower berths, a closet and a stacked Inglis washer and dryer neatly installed in its own cabinet. Guest staterooms share a head with a toilet and enclosed shower. The countertops are all Corian.
All the way forward is the master stateroom with a centerline queen bed and its own private head and a separate stall shower. There is ample storage in cabinets and drawers.
The steps to the Flybridge are at the forward starboard side of the aft deck and land about in the middle (fore and aft) of the flybridge. All the way aft is an L-shaped lounge seat. There are three helm chairs at the steering console. There is a four-sided enclosure for this area under the hardtop which has lights and a ventilation hatch. All the rails are polished stainless steel. All the way aft is the radar arch. Stretching from the hardtop to the radar arch is a sunshade. Four speakers for the stereo are installed and a fiberglass sink with faucet in a fiberglass cabinet is to port.
On the foredeck is the electric windless with controls at the helm station. A roller holds the anchor in the bow pulpit. In addition, there is a recessed portion of the deck that holds cushions for sun bathing. There is also a cover for those cushions. The bow rail is polished stainless steel.

Remarks "SEA VENTURE III" is as clean as a whistle with very little use. Used only in summer months on fresh water for almost all of its life and cared for by a knowledgeable yachtsman. Engines were redone by Detroit Diesel in 1999 to bring them up to the latest modifications. In short, this is an offering that shows the best of everything at a bargain figure.
In June of 2003 the owner went through every system on the boat, updating the AC units, replacing all old hoses and belts, checking out the engines with a Detroit Diesel mechanic, and adding new décor items. In addition, 4 new gel batteries were installed in summer of 2007 and 4 fuel filter canisters were replaced. "SEA VENTURE III" is a lovely yacht in meticulous condition.
Further, it would be an omission not to emphasize the top quality of construction, engineering and finish along with superb running characteristics. An easy boat to handle and to care for.
