Features BLIZZARD has always been a northeast boat and is on just her second owner who has had her since the early 1990's and has never been chartered. Since that time she has always been stored inside during the off season and has enjoyed a number of upgrades detailed in the listing above and re-highlighted here. Early 1990's bottom stripped and barrier coated, '95 new interior and exterior cushions, '96 new primary sails, '99 Hull Awlgripped, 2000 new dodger, 2002 new inverter & VHF, 2004 new refrigeration, 2005 new batteries, new water heater, 2006 new engine and transmission, new autopilot. She was not in service during the '07 season. While her owners love the boat and have thoroughly enjoyed their time on her, they now wish to purchase a larger vessel for cruising further afield.
Remarks The Nelson/Marek designed Morgan 454 is a remarkably versatile boat. Her spacious layout makes her a great cruising vessel with two staterooms both with island queens! Her shoal draft makes her a great boat for the islands, Ches. Bay, Cape Cod and ICW; and her speed would make her a competitive boat on the race course! This is a TON of boat for the money. Especially when one considers that this boat has been recently repowered and Awlgripped!
