Vessel Overview WINDERMERE is likely the finest Mason 54 ever constructed. With her custom arrangement, for two couple cruising, the available comfort and space borders on extravagant. From a sail handling standpoint, exertions may be kept to a minimum with electric Stoway mainsail handling and electric primary winches.
Sailing performance and comportment offshore in marginal conditions is what one would expect from an Al Mason design. She is sure-footed with an easy motion and a pleasure to steer under sail.
The present owners have upgraded the boat without compromise, spending an average of $75,000. per year on "hard" upgrades (over and above good maintenance) for the four years of their stewardship.
