Vessel Walkthrough

Starting forward is an offset double berth cabin. The berth is located to port and there is an upholstered seat to starboard. Beneath the berth are drawers for storage and to starboard are hanging lockers.
The head unit is located aft to port of the forward cabin and has head, sink and vanity mirror forward with a separate shower stall aft. Opposite to starboard of the head unit is a large cupboard. The countertops in the head are marble.
The main saloon has a U shaped settee to port surrounding a dining table. There is storage beneath the settees and cupboards above. Opposite the U shaped settee is a bench settee and a convertible pilot berth outboard. Forward of the bench settee is an additional storage cupboard.
The fully equipped aft facing navigation station is located aft to port of the main saloon.  The navigation station has a compact semi enclosed chart table with upholstered seating and storage beneath. There are also cupboards above the chart table and outboard.
The U shaped galley is situated aft starboard of the main saloon. The three burner stove is situated to outboard, top and front opening fridge and top opening freezer forward and large double sinks aft. There is ample storage space in the galley with cupboards above and below the worktops.
The aft cabin has a double berth to port and a single berth to starboard. There is storage beneath the bunks and shelving above. In between the two berths most aft is copious storage.
The whole of the interior has a solid teak and holly sole, not plywood! Numerous overhead hatches, deck prisms and port lights make the interior light and airy.

Remarks

The Mason 43 is a true classic and a proven offshore passagemaker.  This is the design chosen by George Day, former editor of Cruising World and founder of the touchstone publication Blue Water Sailing for his own family's circumnavigation back in the 90s.
A very seakindly motion combined with great accommodations and classic good looks guarantee that this design is a worthy long term investment. The Tashing yard built these boats with the finest materials and top quality craftsmanship to stand the test of time.
If you are seeking very well made, extremely good looking yacht with a good maintenance history and many recent upgrades that is ready for Caribbean cruising or beyond, then you owe it to yourself to take a close look at We're Here!
