This Luhrs 340 has a modified-V design with a generous flare at the bow, plenty of beam, and moderate transom deadrise. She is a fully equipped fishing boat with a marlin tower, fish boxes, salt and freshwater washdowns, side exhausts, and recessed rod storage in the cabin.
This Luhrs 340 has a large bi-level cockpit (the bridgedeck is raised two feet from the cockpit sole) resulting in good helm visibility and adequate working space in the engine compartment. The helm console is positioned on the center line with the companionway offset to starboard. Below, the 340's cabin is arranged in the normal fashion with a convertible dinette and V-berths forward. The galley is compact and located to port. Featuring teak-trimmed white mica cabinetry and a salty teak and holly cabin sole highlight the interior.
Twin 210HP Detroit Diesels w/ Turbo, will cruise the 340 at 17 knots and reach 23-25 knots wide open.
