Description The 52' Little Harbor Ted Hood Pilothouse is unique amongst other yachts of her size with her true, fully functional pilothouse. It incorporates the navigation area with a spacious area for six to dine comfortably around a gorgeous table of inlaid wood in a well ventilated, natural light environment with a 360 degree view. For night passages, one can sleep inside the pilothouse in a full length berth, and in colder climates with the full length canvas back down, the area can be heated. With full standing headroom in the pilothouse, the helmsman is still able to see clearly over the low-profile pilothouse while standing.
The main salon has an abundance of natural light, tasteful decor and is finished in American Cherry. She may be one of the prettiest Little Harbor 52's on the market.
This Little Harbor is a US Documented vessel lying in Sidney, BC - the best cruising area of the Pacific Northwest. She has been maintained to an impeccable standard by knowledgeable owners and professionals. Her new (2006) Claret Red Awlgrip painted hull with gold and black boot stripe and gold shear stripe portray an elegant, head-turning yacht.
Accommodations The owner's stateroom, forward, is separated from the main salon with a privacy door. The queen-sized centerline berth layout, with its large his/hers hanging locker, numerous drawers and a cushioned seating area, provide true live aboard comfort. The stateroom also features a private vanity and head on portside, offset with a separate shower with built in seat on starboard.
The guest stateroom contains oversized upper and lower bunks, bureau and a hanging locker. The guest/day head and shower compartment is accessed from both the guest stateroom and the main salon.

Airex core material eliminated in areas of sheer line, centerline, ballast, rudder post, hull ports and thru-hulls with solid FRP lay-up in these areas. Structural bulkheads are FRP with balsa core, bonded to the hull and deck with FRP tabbing. Fuel and water tanks are fully baffled, and coated with FDA approved Gelcoat to ensure good taste and smell.
The centerboard has a highly efficient foil shape and is filled with structural putty and lead ballast for negative buoyancy. The centerboard is hoisted via a rope cable to winch on deck. The centerboard trunk is molded FRP.
