Comments The Lagoon 500 is the perfect family cruiser or charter yacht. This 4 - cabin owners' version layout leaves nothing to be desired. Each guest cabin has a double berth and private head.
The design incorporates a flybridge, which is the working platform and operational center of the boat. Sailhandling is kept simple via electric winches, fully battened main, single line reefing and roller furling genoa. The flybridge also serves as a hardtop bimini for the cockpit below, complete with an overhead storage compartment for the cockpit table. This serves to open up the space for use as a lounging, entertaining or water sports staging area.
Charme was delivered with the charter market in mind. She was equipped with every conceivable option and the owner spared no expense on all of the auxiliary gear required to be successful. In fact, in Feb. of 07 she began chartering in the Caribbean under a private charter management program for crewed charters only, (no bareboat). She has a full time captain and mate. Based on the bookings so far, the charter potential is extraordinary. (A full proforma on the charter business is available upon request).
Charme can be purchased with or without the charter contract in place. The owner can block out personal use time to suit. This is not just a very well equipped boat, but also a thriving turnkey business.
