When entering the aft main deck via the 16 foot telescoping OpacMare passerelle you will be surrounded by high quality paint, oversized stainless steel hand polished rails, customized Kingship gates, plus a very well detailed teak deck which includes a compass rose pattern in the center. There is seating for 10 for "alfresco dining." The deck has port and starboard teak lined walkways going forward.
You enter the main salon through a polished stainless steel and glass aft bulkhead. Luiz DeBasto designed an interior that will welcome all visitors in a conservative and pleasant environment. The choice of wood work throughout the yacht is a theme of hand crafted cabinetry with satin finished maple veneers. The Roman fabric drapes operate on independent manual controls and are concealed within the window framework. To starboard, there is a continuous row of cabinetry. Within this cabinetry along with ample storage, there is a modern high tech entertainment system including a large pop up flat screen television. To Port is a very generous seating area for all guests.
As you move forward, there is a dining salon that is separated from the main salon by transverse, mid height cabinetry. You will observe a beautiful oval fiber optic lighting embedded in the headliner above the dining table. The dining area is fully equipped for a party of 10 guests.
To port of the dining is a galley passage. The galley is very spacious with a commercial feel of stainless steel surfaces and appliances. The galley is built in accordance to the MCA requirements for non combustible conditions.
To the starboard of the dining and forward is a large grand entry foyer. One can enter this foyer from the salon, from the starboard mid-ship's entry, the corridor adjacent to the powder room forward, the spiral stairs from the sky lounge, from the spiral stairs from the lower deck, or from the master stateroom. This foyer has beautiful granite flooring and the wood paneling is performed in a pattern of opposing grain veneer.
Forward and to starboard of the foyer, you enter the owner's study equipped with cabinetry, a computer desk and a large flat screen television. As you pass through the study, you then enter the owner's stateroom forward.
The owner's stateroom is full beam with a California King bed. DeBasto worked with a theme of Four Seasons Hotel geometry for all spaces and in the case of this stateroom, a "fifth season" of timeless beauty has been achieved. To starboard is a settee below the very large viewing port window. To port is a vanity area also below a large window. The forward bulkhead has a recessed large flat screen television. The overhead is highly architecturally designed in an oval pattern to set off the other geometric patterns found in this space.
As you go forward from the stateroom, there are his and her entrances to the owner's bath on port and starboard. You will be welcomed into a space that is at once striking in architectural details with the waterfall tub design, centerline forward and a very cool elegance of marble and granite in a variation of colors. To starboard is the private toilet and bidet room. To port is a very large shower enclosure befitting of the grand master space.
Lower Deck
As you descend the mid-ship spiral stairs to the lower deck you will arrive at a generous foyer with many interesting architectural features, the most prominent being the curving spiral stairs. This area has two equal VIP staterooms aft with Queen sized beds. Forward you will find two equal twin berth staterooms which are also equipped with Pullman berths concealed in the wall panels. Each stateroom has an independent en-suite marble bathroom.
Forward of the galley is a staircase dedicated for the crew accommodations. There is a continuous theme of satin veneered maple wall panels plus well thought architectural details. The crew mess has a large dinette table with seating for 8, a flat screen television, a systems monitor, and security camera monitor, there is also a laundry area and storage cabinets.
Bridge Deck
As you arrive at the upper deck foyer via the stairs from the main deck, you will have the entrance to a powder room outboard, the pilot house forward, and the sky lounge aft.
Out board of you is the powder room with its unique sink design and scalloped hand carved wall panels.
Turning aft, you enter a cozy sky lounge with generous windows and light. There is enough seating for the guests to enjoy the large flat screen television aft and to port or for someone to work at the desk to starboard. Looking around you will reveal the opposing grain checkerboard wall panels. The large glass and stainless steel sliding door aft will take you to the very private and spacious alfresco dining area. Aft of the dining area is the tender crane running athwart ships along with the 17 foot Nautica RIB. All around you are the 2 inch diameter hand polished railings plus the custom Kingship gates that make a positive statement to the craftsmanship.
When turning forward from the foyer, you will enter the professionally arranged pilot house and bridge. The same yacht quality fit and finish is to be found on the bridge with the satin maple veneers, rich blue leathers and architectural details at every turn.
On the port side of the pilothouse and aft is the captain's office and stateroom with en-suite bath and queen sized bed.
As you leave the bridge from either the port or starboard side you can go forward to the Portuguese Bridge and continue on along the all teak decks to the foredeck equipped with anchor windlass, warping capstans, the ship's bell and a cozy teak covered seat.
Sun Deck
As you leave the sky lounge through the aft sliding door, you can turn to port and go up the stairs to the Sun Deck. In this area under the arch, there is a Jacuzzi Tub for 6 people and three sun lounges. The view is spectacular for 360 degrees.
Machinery Spaces
This area can be entered either through the transom watertight door or through the port deck weather tight door. The space is large enough for all systems to be easily accessible for daily maintenance. There is attention to detail in each aspect of the installed systems. The look is a continuous pattern of Matterhorn white paint and polished stainless steel. All of the western manufactured systems meet full Lloyd's Class and MCA approval.
Tank deck
Below the crew area forward is a very large storage area for long passages. Below the guest staterooms are enough integral fuel tankage for up to 4,500 mile voyages which is equivalent to 3 weeks of non stop cruising. There is also ample storage for all other liquids including 2,500 gallons of fresh potable water which can be replenished by the 2,000 gallon per day watermaker.
Comment on Systems
Kingship invested in only the very best and most reliable technology available for each system. The list is long and to name a few of the notable products we would have to mention Caterpillar engines, Kilopak gensets, Quantum stabilizers and hydraulic powerpack, Matrix watermaker, Atlas electric panel and frequency converter, Nautical Structures davit, Maxwell anchor windlass and capstans, Jets toilets, and Hamman sewage treatment, Heinen & Hopman plus Marine Air air-conditioning, Freeman hatches, etc. This yacht has been receiving acclaim from many industry professionals for its attention to detail and rugged excellence. This is a yacht built to go to sea, make long passages, travel comfortably, and arrive in style!
