The King Legend 41 is a well-built offshore cutter that has been rigged for long distance cruising. Ascension was built in Taiwan then sailed by her first owner to Australia, cruised to California, Hawaii and later to Florida where her current owners of 19 years have enjoyed years of cruising in the Florida and the Bahamas. Her handsome exterior features an oyster white Awlgrip hull, teak rails, and attractive flushdeck profile. Companionway steps lead to the comfortable interior featuring rich teak cabinetry and trim, teak and holly sole, bright island fabrics, brass lamps and light and ventilation provided by ports, hatches and indirect lighting. Beginning forward, there is a v-berth with new foam mattress, hanging locker, and more storage in cabinets and drawers. There is an enclosed head with vanity, sink, shower and marine toilet. The salon follows featuring a u-shaped dinette to port (sleeps 2) and a settee to starboard, both with storage under. The ½” Sundowner headliner was new in 2004 and upholstery also updated at that time with new foam and fabrics. There is rod holder storage above, 12V fans and more storage in lockers and shelves. The galley is up two steps to port, companionway steps in center and inside steering station and navigation center is to starboard. The aft cabin is next with centerline queen berth, storage under and in hanging lockers, cabinets and shelves. Also aft is an enclosed head with vanity, sink, shower and marine head.
