PROFILE
abc/This Shipyards can be introduced as a Shipyard which was founded in the 1800 therefore for almost 200 years of experience with shipbuilding. Our yard is known for its experience and flexibility for the building of Multi Purpose Container Vessels between 3.000 DWAT and 15.000 DWAT.

With an own engineering, R&D department which is continuously working on the development of new designs.

Thanks to our R&D department which is continuously working on the development of new types of vessels we are expanding our product range. The latest type of vessel they developed is the 4400 DWAT with Ice-class 1A.

We are working closely together with a fixed group of co-makers which has a positive effect on the production of the vessels.

Our Marketing department got in touch with several new shipping companies which did not belong to our clients one year ago.
ORGANISATION ===================
The vessels are built in four different production locations. But since 2002 we have been outsourcing the building of hulls with yards in Rumania and since 2003 in Poland and the Ukraine.

PRODUCTS
Our main products are the:

3450 DWAT Multi Purpose Container Vessel, suitable for Saimaa canal
4400 DWAT Multi Purpose Container Vessel, Ice class 1A and 1B
7800 DWAT Multi Purpose Container Vessel
In 2003 Bdx Shipyards has delivered four vessels and will deliver three more before the end of the year. In total seven ships will be delivered in 2003 of which four 4400 DWAT, two 7800 DWAT vessels and one 3400 SAIMAA vessel.

In comparison with 2002 this is an increase of 175 percent. The main reason for this what started as outsource the building with yards in Poland and the Ukraine since last year. The first vessels of which the casco was built in these countries were delivered this year. the purpose of these advertisements are for future purchasers commitments in the knowladge and products available today... we have as brokers no intentions of having/or/holding exclusive interest..we are only trying to provide informations that is available now..

Natural gas is a fuel that is in demand the world over. It is a clean fuel that is only found in certain regions - the Middle East is one such area. However, the largest consumers of natural gas - such as Europe and the Far East - are far from those who produce it. Therefore, transporting natural gas economically is important.

Like the air around us, natural gas in its normal state occupies a lot of space. But it must be sent in large quantities to be economically viable. It can be sent to customers in its natural form via pipelines, but laying pipes to customers who are thousands of kilometers away is neither practical nor economic.

But there is another way. If natural gas is cooled to -160^oC, it becomes a liquid. In its liquid form it reduces in volume by 600 times, making it possible to load huge quantities of gas on to tankers to be shipped to customers around the globe.
