Accomodations
Very Spacious for a 37 footer, the 37 Sundeck is a Two-Stateroom Two-Head design with ample headroom throughout. The Forward Stateroom offers excellent privacy for guests, and features a double biased berth with large hanging locker portside and storage underneath. The Guest Head compartment is portside aft of the berth with nice paneled privacy door and new freshwater Silent Flush head. To starboard, opposite the Forward Head is a separate Shower Enclosure. The current owner has converted this into an additional Hanging Locker by the simple addition of an overhead rod, which is easily removable.
The Master Stateroom is aft and features a Center-Line double berth, easy to walk around. A large Hanging Locker is to starboard accessed by double doors. The Master Head is portside, separated by a paneled door, featuring a new Silent Flush Head and a nice large shower stall.
The Salon is quite spacious and bright. The windows are all nice and tight with no pitting or flaking on or around the framing. A new Flexsteel Settee and matching new Eckhorn Stressless chair, new carpet, a new Panasonic 27" Flatscreen and other nice touches add to the warm comfortable feel.
A very nice Lower Helm Station is Portside, forward in the Salon. Visibility is excellent from this station, including a Rear-View Camera. A full array of engine gauges, A Uniden VHF, a Lowrance Digital Depth Sounder, and a mount for the Garmin 2010C Chartplotter make operation from this lower station safe and comfortable. The U-shaped Galley is down and to port, aft of the Guest Stateroom bulkead. Opposite the Galley to starboard is a good-sized booth Dinette. Power is by twin Cummins 6BT Diesel Engines (900 hours total service) rated at 210HP each with ZF Hirth gears. Owner reports a combined fuel burn rate of 5 gallons per hour at 9 knots. In December 2004 the Running Gear was reworked, with new Shafts, New Cutlass Bearings, and the installation of Dripless seals. She was hauled, inspected, and was freshly Bottom Painted in November of 2006.
The Shorepower connections were also recently reworked from the Deck Connection to the Main Panel for added safety and convenience.
