Vessel Walkthrough Starting forward is the v-berth master cabin. There is shelving above the berth to outboard and large hanging locker aft to port. Aft of the berth to port is an upholstered seat. The forward cabin en-suite head unit is starboard aft of the cabin and is fitted with a head, shower, sink and vanity unit. The main salon is next aft with a u-shaped settee to starboard surrounding a teak dining table which can be converted into an additional double berth. Opposite the u-shaped settee is a small dinette with single upholstered seats either side of the teak table. There are storage cupboards and shelves above the settee and the dinette and additional storage lockers beneath the upholstered seating. The navigation station is located aft port of the main salon with the navigation equipment above and outboard and a teak shelving unit beneath. The navigation station uses the aft dinette seat and the teak dinette table as a chart table. The galley is located aft of the starboard settee, the twin sinks are forward and the refrigeration unit and stove are outboard. There is plenty of storage both above the worktops and below. Opposite the galley is the aft head unit which is fitted with a head, shower, sink and vanity unit. Aft of the main salon on either side of the companionway are the two aft cabins. Both cabin layouts are mirrored with the double berths located aft and hanging lockers to outboard.

Remarks The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 offers a well designed, traditionally constructed, performance orientated, easy to handle cruiser.
