ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: This beautiful two cabin version, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43DS, was built with comfort and performance in mind. Whether you are looking to experience adventure out at sea or to live aboard, “Anemone” is well equipped with everything you could ever need. Everything from the fully functional galley to the roomy deck salon and the cabin below provide for excellent entertaining and complete comfort.
GALLEY: The L-shaped galley is to starboard. It has teak furnishings with a laminated countertop to add to the good looks of this boat. Also included is a rectangular double stainless steel sink, two sink covers that double as cutting boards, hot and cold pressure water mixer tap, shelving and wastebasket under sink, top loading dish drainer, four storage lockers and a cutlery drawer, a two-burner stove with oven and a folding cover. Top and front loading SeaFrost refrigerator with both an air cooled and water cooled system, a large freezer, a Sea water pump, microwave, and a crockery and storage locker above countertop.
HEAD(S) & Showers: The aft head on “Anemone” includes an Antium countertop, an oblong stainless steel sink, a storage locker with mirrored door over the sink, water mixer tap and a storage cupboard with access to thru-hull fittings under the sink. An additional cupboard with door over toilet, a roof port with curtain, a large model manual pump marine toilet, a lateral and overhead light, an internal fiberglass shower zone with folding seat and shower door, and an electric shower sump pump. The head is accessible through a door from the gangway. There is also a forward head equipped in similar fashion.
ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: Electronics include a Kato radar mount on mast for Raymarine RL 70C radar and GPS, Raymarine ST-60 Tri-Data knot/depth/wind, Raymarine ST-6000 autopilot with remote, Raymarine radar and GPS screen at helm and color screen down below, Icom VHF radio with cockpit remote, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with cockpit speakers.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Electrical system includes 20 switches with circuit breakers, a 12V voltmeter with battery selector, a 12V plug, an ammeter for onboard consumption, and an ammeter for battery charge.
SAILS & RIGGING: Sails consist of a mainsail with in-mast furling and a Pro-Furl furling 150% genoa. Standing rigging includes an anodized aluminum boom and deck-stepped furling mast, swept back double spreaders and masthead rig, stainless steel wire rigging, a backstay with bridle, an above-deck genoa furler and a spinnaker pole track. Running rigging consists of a jib halyard, a mainsail topping lift, a mainsail halyard, two genoa sheets, one mainsheet, a mainsail outhaul, a rigid boom vang, and adjustable mainsheet traveler, and a genoa furler control line.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: The engine is a 75hp Yanmar turbo diesel with 464 hours. The engine is easily accessible in a compartment under the companionway that is insulated to be completely soundproof. Also there is a 3-blade prop with a stainless steel prop shaft. A Northern Lights 5.5 KW genset with 115 hours is also on board.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: This boat is equipped with the required USCG safety equipment. Also on board is an anchor windlass with remote, anchor washdown, and 100 ft. of 3/8 chain and 100 ft. of nylon rode on a Delta anchor.
CANVAS AND OTHER EXTRAS: Extras include Kato dinghy davits with heavy duty purchase, Edson dinghy engine mount, dodger and bimini with fly, complete cockpit enclosure with Stratoglass, a Freedom 20 Heart inverter, heavy duty screens for ports and hatches, and a deluxe folding teak table. Rub rails have been newly installed with stainless steel striker plate. All decals on hull trim have been removed and painted on. Three electric fans have been installed- two in the owner’s cabin and one in the forward cabin. “Anemone” is also equipped with air conditioning and heat – two units. This boat comes with a custom fitted winter cover and covers for all windows and large hatches.
