Vessel Walkthrough

The flare of this 68' Jarrett Bay, in combination with the owner's direction, gave birth to an extremely nimble and maneuverable vessel. Decoy's galley features flawlessly crafted quarter-sawn, book matched American Cherry cabinets and a stunning cherry and ebony sole. The heads feature designer fabrics. Three staterooms are found below. Aft, the starboard stateroom (Captain's berth) has direct access to the head which offers a second entrance, doubling as a day head. The port side guest stateroom includes side by side berths and the master stateroom is forward with a large shower located in the forepeak.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom (forward) features the head forward, placing the shower in the peak of the boat. Aft is a separate compartment for the starboard Headhunter MSD (with built-in hamper behind) and port sink. Further aft, the master berth is angled, with a desk/makeup table (including laptop outlet) and plasma TV to starboard. A touch-screen, next to the berth, controls the entertainment system and a cockpit security system.

VIP Stateroom

The guest stateroom, located to port, features side-by-side berths separated by a nightstand  which can be removed and the beds slide together. The stand can be reinstalled inboard.

Guest Stateroom

To starboard, the guest stateroom features over/under bunks, plenty of cabinet storage, custom designer fabrics and pillows, and direct access to the day head.

Salon

A Release Marine table is featured and is designed to change from four feet square to two by six feet! Surrounding it is a U-shaped leather couch with rod and dry stowage below. The 42" pop-up TV (and echelon of entertainment features) can be viewed from the settee.

Galley

The full beamed galley, without dinette, is spacious! The starboard side is dedicated to beverages and the port side is devoted to cooking. Two refrigerator drawers, ice maker, drink and glass stowage, and a pull-out coffee maker are located starboard. The aft counter is practical and beautiful with two bar stools for dining or drinks. Outboard of the bar stools is a retractable communications pod with Raymarine wind indicator and Furuno Navtex, and a 42" plasma TV.

Laundry

An over/under washer and dryer are well hidden in the companionway.

Cockpit

The clean, functional cockpit offers concealed under-gunwale gaff, mop and shore cord stowage to either side, a four-foot-deep fishbox serviced by an Eskimo Icemaker forward of the fighting chair, and an in-transom live well with removable partition so it can hold either one or two types of bait. Fine-tuned by the owner, the cockpit is flawless and was recently refurbished. Additionally there is a new mezzanine, a transom door without gate and a large lazzarette.  The bait system includes four (4) free standing tuna tubes and four (4) in transom bait tanks which can be removed for other bait requirements.

Engine Room

The Jarrett Bay designers experience leads you to a large, pleasant, and functional engine room. The mechanical equipment is pristine and easily accessible. Accessed from the cockpit (and Awlgripped), the engine room is as clean and concealed as the rest of the boat.  The MTU engines recently had their 2000 hour service (including new injectors) performed by Valley Power Systems, a MTU specialist.
