AIRPOWER is a well equipped racer/cruiser that has been thoughtfully modified for cruising.
The current owner bought the boat in the Pacific NW and did a cruising conversion.
He cruised the boat in the NW for a season, then sailed the boat south to San Francisco for more updating before doing the BA HA HA and 2 seasons in Mexico.
The boat is fast and stable on all points of sail, has a roomy interior, a great cockpit,and is ready to go again. During it's last trip to Mexico it participated in the Banderas Bay Regatta with a 4th overall result.

Accommodations
V-Berth forward makes a double plus 8 single berths. Center nav station. Enclosed marine head. Headroom is 6'2". There is amble storage with zippered bins. 2 burner Hillsrange propane stove/oven. Fresh and seawater foot pumps in galley. Engine driven cold plate freezer in well insulated icebox.

Sail and Rigging
Most of the standing and running rigging was replaced in 2002 and has been continuously upgraded and maintained. A Tides Marine strong track was added with a new mainsail with full length battens in 2004 as well a a new # 2 on a Harken furler. 1.5oz, .75oz and .5oz kites with 1 sock for easy handling. Numerous additional head sails of varying age. There is a Monitor wind vane mounted on the transom.
Miscellaneous
Decks and most of the interior was repainted in 2004. At the same time all hardware was removed from the deck and re bedded. The bottom was stripped, faired and sprayed. The hull is clean and the boat shows a lot younger than it's birth certificate claims!
