It all started with this boat Island Packet, one of the premier yacht builders, founded the company name on the Mark II. The roomiest 26 you will ever see, bar none, with an actual length of 30 feet.
The Island Packet 26 is a unique cruising sailboat designed for sailors interested in extended coastal cruising, weekending, or even just day sailing.
The wide 10'6" beam provides an unusually spacious interior with accommodations for five. It also allows for a large, secure cockpit that will easily hold a group of friends and family. In addition, the shallow 2'4" draft enables access to numerous shallow coastal anchorages and secluded gunk-holes that would not be inaccessible to deeper draft boats.
Accommdations & Layout
The V-Berth forward sleeps two and is separated from the main salon by a privacy curtain.? There is a private head aft to starboard, vanity, cedar lined hanging locker, pressure water. A marine head. The Main Salon features a single port settee, pull-out double starboard settee and a bulkhead mounted drop-leaf dining table which can also be used as a chart table. The galley is to port of the companionway.? The galley is very easy to use with nice storage for a weekend getaway.
