-- DESCRIPTION --
---?Windsong II? is a fine example of a classic design offering exceptional comfort for the knowledgeable cruising sailor. She is nicely equipped with Diesel Generator, Air Conditioning, SSB, Radar, 7001 Autopilot and backup, High Output Alternator, Dinghy Davits, RIB & OB, Cruising Spinnaker, etc. New upholstery and upgraded foam from Island Packet in 2000. Her modern full keel hull design combines speed with the traditional attributes of control and safety, and protection for the rudder and prop. The famous rack & pinion steering system is noted for its sensitivity and smooth handling with reliability. Below deck, her 2-stateroom layout is ideally suited for extended periods aboard. Her teak bulkheads and varnished teak & holly sole give the feeling of luxury & warmth. ?Windsong? is an exceptionally well-equipped bluewater yacht and ready to cruise.
Accommodations
Her 2 private stateroom layout is ideally suited for extended periods aboard. The spacious forward master stateroom provides a wide V-berth, generous storage space, and a large cedar-lined hanging locker. Louvered teak doors to the head compartment and salon ensure privacy and ventilation. Continuing aft, the head can be accessed from both the main salon and master stateroom. It features a separate shower stall complete with teak shower seat, curtain and bulkhead-mounted shower unit. There?s also a spacious vanity with stainless steel sink, and plenty of light and ventilation from the port and overhead hatch.

The large main salon includes facing settees, a bulkhead table (which hides a bottle and storage rack) and a pullout berth on the port side to provide another double berth. The adjacent full-size nav. station faces aft for easy communication with the helm and has a hinged top and storage tray underneath and a wide electronics cabinet outboard with large shipboard control panel. The starboard settee has a flip-up galley extension table at the aft end.

The huge wrap-around U-shaped galley is starboard aft. It?s well equipped, efficient, and has a non-skid floor pattern to assure safe footing to the companionway. There?s excellent access to the Yanmar engine on all sides with removable insulated panels on either side and behind the companionway ladder.

The aft stateroom is equally spacious with a large double berth, dressing seat, and cedar-lined hanging locker. Plenty of stowage here and two ports and an overhead hatch provide excellent light and ventilation here also.

Broker's comment
?Windsong II?s? owner is a very conscience seller. Every 2 years, she is taken to Embree Boat Yard in St Pete (one of the best) for complete service and bottom paint. She has had not blisters in his 13 years of ownership. Before he would put her on the market, owner even had the generator pulled out for complete check including cleaning the heat exchange. He said ?I wanted to make sure that everything was right before putting her on the market?. Also, before listing her, we did a cold start on her Yanmar and she started right up w/o smoke.
