Bottom; sand blasted and barrier coated with
4 coats of InterProtect 2000E and 2 coats of Micron Optima in March and April
2003, wet sanded and painted with 2 coats of Micron Optima, first coat blue, top
coat black in March and April 2005, new centerboard cable installed

filters in parallel so that a filter can be changed while underway, there are 2
electric fuel pumps to aid in filter change, the pumps are not required for
normal engine operation

Power Generation and Distribution

batteries through a Balmar MC-612 Regulator that uses up to 12 time and voltage
increments for a quick charge

Solar Panels; Kyocera, 4 - KC series panels,
2003, max power 80 watts, total 320 watts, supplies house batteries through a
Xantrex Trace C ? Series multifunction DC controller. On a sunny day they supply
enough power for auto pilot, navigation instruments, refrigerator, and freezer
and to partially charge the house battery

House Batteries; 4 ? Crown CR-395, 9/2005,
6V, deep-cycle batteries, connected in 2 ? 12V banks, total 740amphr at 20 hour
rate

Starting Batteries; 2- West Marine Sea Volt
800 Maintenance Free, 2004, main engine battery charged from house battery via
Heart Interface, digital, echo charger; diesel generator starting battery
charged from alternator on DG

Inverter; Heart Interface, Freedom Marine
Series, 2003, 3kw supplies 120VAC from the house batteries to the AC
distribution system, the unit is also a charger supplying 140amps in 3 stages to
the house batteries from shore power or the diesel generator. Unit is controlled
by a Xantrex 1000 monitor which displays DC voltage, current and ampere hours.


Distribution; main DC distribution system
completely rewired with 4/0 cable in 2003 along with the installation of the
components listed above. The distribution panel installed at the navigation
station is divided into DC and AC sections. Part of both sections was
reconfigured to match the new equipment installed.

Nexus integrated system; 2000, includes
depth, speed, wind, fluxgate compass interfaced with Garmin 128 GPS, autopilot,
and navigation computer.

to the GPS and view it at the helm and have the autopilot in track mode follow
