Closing Remarks

Second Wind is an excellent example of a very well equipped and maintained late model Hylas 54 Raised Salon.  The Frers designed Hylas 54 semi custom design offers excellent performance, exquisite teak woodwork and a very spacious bright, airy 3 cabin interior.  There are hundreds of choices when building a new Hylas including cabin configuration, options selection and personal customizing.  Second Wind's owner's knowledge and experience and open ended budget are a few reasons she is one of the most attractive 54's built to date.  She is also one of the only 54's with the shoal keel board design, which gives access to hundreds of additional anchorages while cruising.  Everything is on board for extended cruising.  Sail handling is automated.  Second Wind's asking price is hundreds of thousands less than new construction that has a two year waiting period.
