Accommodations Main Salon: Stepping down from the cockpit you find the spacious main salon with its beautiful Bamboo floors and Teak cabinetry. This raised section of the interior is full of light from the large salon windows, deck hatches and hull ports. There is a custom varnished dining table that has a removable hatch in the middle containing a full size toaster. To starboard is a settee with an excellent sea berth above. The settee pulls out to form a large bunk. At the forward end of the salon is a long cabinet with electrical outlets and shelves for charging cell phones.
Galley: The galley runs along the starboard side, aft of the main salon. The Walistone counter tops are trimmed with varnished Teak. All appliances have Teak faces. The floor has been dropped down 2" from standard to provide additional headroom.
Aft Stateroom: The owner's stateroom aft features a full queen berth on centerline, outfitted for lee cloths. There are two side hull ports and two stern hull ports over the berth in addition to the coach windows. A large opening hatch in the overhead provides emergency egress and is fitted with a screen and sunshade. The large ensuite head has a Lexan partitioned shower stall that can also be used as a steam room (sauna).
Guest Staterooms: Forward of the main salon are two guest staterooms. The port stateroom has a double berth with a pipe berth over. The forward stateroom has a large V-berth. Both staterooms have separate entrances to the forward head and shower stall.
Navigation Stations: A large nav station is located to the port and aft of the main salon. In addition to the chart table there is a separate desk for a computer. A comfortable, fixed Aeron swivel chair provides excellent seating for both stations.

Remarks FIRST HOME is a very custom Hylas 54 Raised Salon. The build specifications for custom items are over 30-pages long, detailing each and every aspect of the yacht for maximum comfort, safety, convenience and extended blue-water passage making. This yacht was built for a very experienced offshore sailor and provides an excellent opportunity for any buyer looking for a beautiful world-class cruiser at a huge savings over replacement costs.
Combining the world's top designer with an experienced and involved owner has produced a superior world cruiser. The concept from the start was to build a yacht that is easily handled by two people, extremely low maintenance, thoughtfully setup for extended cruising and providing maximum safety. These goals have been met while producing a yacht of beautiful proportions. The first thing that meets one's eyes when stepping below is the stunning Bamboo floor accented with Teak stripes. A quick look around will verify that the bright, airy feeling of the yacht is no mistake. The Teak was hand picked for the lightest color possible, and large parts of the interior have been painted white, greatly adding to the open feeling the interior suggests.
