Accommodations "Atlantis" features a blue hull, recently new bottom and varnish. There was a recent survey and all items were addressed.
The vessel walk through starts with large semi-pullman in the vee with a head/shower to port. The dinette and salon settee are next with the galley starboard and nav station to port of the companionway.
Access to the large centerline queen aft cabin is through the galley or the aft shower/head to port.
The interior is full teak and well maintained. The upholstery is upgraded. Thers is lots of lockers, closets, and storage thoughout.
There are 2 CruiseAire units (fore and aft) to maintain the cabin comfort.
Galley The galley features two large refrigerator compartments. One is cooled by an Adler/Barbour 12V compressor and both are on a Grunert Engine driven compressor (not currently in use). The stove is a gimballed two-burner Seaward LPG unit with oven.
Electronics and Navigational Equipment The cockpit has simple Raymarine ST-60 depth and speed and a ST-40 wind indicator on the sea hood above the companionway. These is a West Marine VHF at the nav station.
Engine /Mechanical Equipment The engine is a Yanmar 4JH-TE 60hp turbo diesel with undocumented hours. The engine space has multiple access locations and needs some cosmetic attention.
Sails and Rigging The sail plan includes a standard battened main on lazy jacks and a furling genoa on the Furlex head stay. There is a spinnaker pole track on the mast.
The winches include 2 x Barient 32 genoa sheet winches, 1 x Barient 24 main sheet winch, 2 x Barient 27 spinnaker winches, 3 x Barient halyard winches on the mast, and 2 x Barient 24's on the coach roof. All winches were serviced 8/07.
Cockpit The cockpit features a new (8/07) bimini and full enclosure. The helm is an Edson pedestal with a Danforth compass. There are comfy, blue cockpit cushions to compliment the color scheme of the boat.
Description Reknowned Frers designed Hylas 44 with recent upgrades and features. Functional and cozy interior. Basic electronics, and sailplan. Owner wants to move up.
Deck Equipment The deck features a large aft deck with three large lockers, one is for the oversized LPG tank. The ground tackle is comprised of a new Delta on new chain for the primary and a 45# CQR on SS chain/rope rode as the secondary operated by a Maxwell-Nillson windlass.
