Vessel Walkthrough Starting forward is the guest double V-berth cabin with night stand, a hanging locker starboard aft, shelving above the berth outboard and cupboards above the berth to starboard and forward of the berth. There is additional storage beneath the berth. Next to the forward cabin is the forward head unit with head, sink and vanity unit and shower. Next aft is the main salon with an L-shaped settee surrounding a teak table which can be lowered to convert into an additional double berth. There is a second settee to starboard. There are cupboards above the settee outboard and below the settees. The salon has TV, VCR, DVD and Hi-Fi set CD player. The TV is mounted on tracks and can be stored out of sight when not in use. The speaker system includes two inside and two cockpit mounted waterproof speakers. Port aft in the main salon is the galley. To outboard is the 3-burner stove, a set of four drawers and plenty of cupboards for storage above the countertop. Facing forward are the twin stainless steel sinks, countertop space and cupboards beneath. Aft in the galley there is more countertop space and the refrigeration/freezer units. Aft starboard in the main salon is the well equipped navigation station with a large chart table which has a lift up lid and four drawers. Aft of the navigation station is a work bench with storage under and over and a wet locker towards the master stateroom. The master stateroom aft is beautifully fitted with a comfortable queen berth to port. There is a small settee starboard aft, a vanity unit forward of the berth, cupboards above the berth outboard and a hanging locker starboard aft. Leading from the stateroom is the master head which has a head, vanity sink and mirror and a separate shower.

Remarks Athena represents a tremendous value for a handy, maintenance oriented individual. She suffered a fire in the aft section and has had some her other after decks and cabin areas rebuilt and a fair bit of interior joinery replaced. She is not finished to yacht standards at the time but could be "brought back" to good cruising yacht standards at minimal expense. She is fully operational and has served her current owners as a liveaboard for many years so she is quite livable. Her low price represents an eagerness on the sellers part to move on to a different phase in life and if you are seeking a good wholesome, powerful offshore cruising yacht with a fair turn of speed and at a very low price, Athena is not to be overlooked!
