ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: Your guests will be impressed by the beautifully appointed very large salon with the galley to port and the dinette to starboard. Below decks you are surrounded by the amenities that make Hunter famous. A huge salon with convertible dinette, gourmet galley, twin staterooms aft and a spacious owner’s stateroom forward all contain those subtle touches that define elegance. Below-deck comfort is enhanced by reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning.
GALLEY: The gourmet galley, designed for quick snacks or full entertaining, features wrap-around countertops, 3-burner propane stainless steel range with oven, stainless steel double sink with hot/cold pressurized water, built-in microwave oven, an enormous dual-opening refrigerator-freezer and lots of storage. The opening ports and hatches plus the recessed lighting keep the galley area bright and well-ventilated.
HEAD(S) & Showers: Fully fiberglass-lined for easy maintenance and equipped with showers and macerators, both of these heads are Vacuflush heads (one forward and one aft) and are complete right down to the Corian-topped vanities.
ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: “Morning Star” features a comprehensive instrumentation package which includes an Autohelm pathfinder radar/plotter system, Autohelm 7000 auto-pilot, ST-60 instruments including ST-60 wind machine.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: The highlights of the electrical system include two 4D AGM batteries, Northern Lights diesel generator with 240 hours usage, 100 amp alternator and two 30 amp shore power circuits plus shore power cords.
SAILS & RIGGING: Morning Star’s sail and rigging inventory include a roller furling genoa, full batten mainsail with an electric winch to raise the main, cruising spinnaker gear including a cruising spinnaker, spinnaker winches, aluminum solid boom vang, four gang deck organizers and rope clutches on port and starboard sides plus the optional inner forestay.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: 76 hp Yanmar diesel with second 40 gallon fuel tank (90 gallons total) and transfer pump. Engine has 470 hours usage.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: A 120lb Bruce anchor and a 60lb Bruce anchor. Each anchor rode consists of thirty feet of chain spliced to two hundred feet of nylon rode. The standard USCG safety equipment is included.
CANVAS AND OTHER EXTRAS: Cockpit comfort is enhanced by White Sunsure cockpit cushions along with a dodger and bimini. Other extras include a 15 inch LCD TV with DVD Player, deck wash down system and washer/dryer. In 2006 “Morning Star” had five coats of Interlux 200/2001 barrier coat and Interlux Micron Extra bottom paint professionally applied.
