Accommodations The Hunter 460 is noted for its roomy interior and cockpit. The living space is a major feature of this model. Forward is the master suite with a centerline queen berth and seperate head and shower ensuite. The salon has a large convertible dinette with two captain's chairs to starboard. The L-shaped galley is to port of the companionway and the nav station and day/aft head are starboard. The two aft cabins are under the cockpit but with standing room inside.
Both heads utilize the Vacuflush system for quick, quiet operation.
There are two MarineAire a/c units to cool the cabins and a TV/DVD player, VHF video player, and AM/FM/CD stereo for entertainment.
Galley The main feature of the galley is an oversized refrigerator and seperate freezer. They are cooled by a Grunert cold plate system using 110V shore power or an onboard genset while underway. The stove is a gimballed Force 10 3-burner LPG system with oven. And there is a Origo microwave. There is a double stainless steel sink. And there is lots of storage.
Electrical System The electrical system is supported by a Northern Lights 5.5 KW genset under the companionway. The system has about 3200 hours.
Engine /Mechanical Equipment The power is supplied by a reliable Yanmar 75 hp turbo diesel with about 2100 hours. It has been professionally maintained by the charter service department since new.
Electronics and Navigational Equipment The electronics are all Raymarine with a C80 GPS/chartplotter at the helm, along with a ST-7000+ autopilot, ST-60 AWI, ST-60 Depth, and ST-60 Knotmeter. A Standard Horizon VHF at the nav station and a remote mic at the helm provide communication.
Sails and Rigging The rig is the standard mast head B&R design on a Selden mast which makes for ease of handling and yet lots of power. The mainsail is in-mast furled. There is also a asymmetrical spinnaker in a snuffer for light air sailing. All lines are run aft to the cockpit.
The mainsail (furling and sheet) winches are Lewnar 48ST's and the jib sheet winches are Lewmar 44ST's. All winches are mounted on the coach roof by the companionway.
Deck Equipment The ground tackle is a Delta primary anchor with chain/rope rode and a Bruce secondary also on chain and rope. It is managed by a Simpson Lawrence windlass. A new Apex A-10 RIB dingy and new Tohatsu 6hp 4-stroke outboard provide local transportation.
Cockpit The cockpit is extra large with a Edson pedestal, table and ice chest. The bimini is supported by the standard stainless steel Hunter arch which also supports the traveler. There are full cockpit cushions. The fold out helm seat provides access to the swim platform.
